Wow. you have gone a long way back in my blogs. My current membership site http://www.secretstoemotionalhealth.com is the step by step approach – information unfolding over a few pages and backed up by an email funnel full of wonderful goodies. If you haven’t logged on yet you may like to try and see what I am talking about. I have not used myself the community based approach but Janet Beckers uses this approach very successfully with her website Wonderful Web Women. I do have some plans to look at this model for a new very hush hush idea that I have and will be rolling out this year. Take care Julie

The Google Adwords ban has been a difficult and time consuming situation. I am no further along with being enlightened about why this all happened (although I did get a reply from Adwords, it still did not make sense to me). After talking with many people and experts in this area, here are a few things that I have learnt that I hope will benefit others:
- Never rely on one form of advertising. There are now a number of other possibilities out there such as Facebook, Bing and Yahoo
-It is hard to not take something like this personally, as I felt my business ethics had been questioned but I found that I am not alone. In the last few months over 15,000 people have been banned from Adwords. Some of these were clients spending over a $million a year. This is a business and when one door closes just look for the next door sitting ajar
-In your adwords account never leave a campaign “paused” always delete. Adwords sees this as a current file and will check it out, particularly the landing page. I had left some old (over one year) affiliate marketing campaigns “paused” and they didn’t like a landing page.

I always take time at he beginning of the year to ask myself “What do I want to achieve for this year?”. It is one of the things that helps me keep focused.
